Over the centuries, the Virgin River has cut out the beautiful main canyon of Zion National Park.
The canyon is defined by fantastic cliffs and rock formations that constantly change colors based on the time of day and the weather.
One can drive up the east side and through the tunnel to a very good high overlook of the canyon.
If you want to go into the canyon itself, you must ride the free tram or walk.
